The biggest unanswered questions facing the Packers in advance of divisional round
Even with so many players returning to the fold for the Packers, several major questions remain unanswered less than a week before the 49ers arrive at Lambeau Field.
After a bye week to rest and recover, the Green Bay Packers have now begun their preparations for their divisional-round tilt with the San Francisco 49ers in earnest. The Packers expect to feature as full of a roster as they've had all season, a positive development for their Super Bowl aspirations.
Still, even with so many players returning to action, several major questions remain unanswered less than a week before the 49ers arrive at Lambeau Field.
How far has David Bakhtiari's conditioning come?
After more than a year away from the NFL field, David Bakhtiari returned for the Packers' season finale on Jan. 9. He played only 27 snaps, but that limited work highlighted how dominant the All-Pro left tackle remains, allowing zero pressures and opening up holes in the run game. Green Bay received more than commendable performances from Elgton Jenkins and Yosh Nijman in his stead, but Bakhtiari provides a ceiling that no other offensive lineman on the roster can offer.
That is, of course, if Bakhtiari can handle the workload.
