What have we seen from Jordan Love that suggests he can be a high-level quarterback? The short answer is “not much.” We have heard plenty of speculation about Love’s readiness and anecdotes about when long-time media members knew Aaron Rodgers would be great, like plenty of them didn’t know players that flamed out of the league would be great or believe players like Davante Adams needed to cede playing time to the legendary Jeff Janis. That said, flashes and development are important to projection, so are there reasons to be hopeful on Love? We take a look at an example from every time we’ve had a chance to see extended Love playing time.

This is the big throw of the night for Jordan Love. 3rd-and-9 seam throw vs. C2 with a defender barreling down into him. End zone angle shows it's a more difficult throw than the sideline angle makes it seem. This is where Jace can win too. He's a seam threat.

The Texans game caught some buzz on Twitter with how decisive Love looked in his first preseason action. He looked decisive with the ball and Matt LaFleur let him sling it. Love completed a number of in-breakers to Malik Taylor and Devin Funchess, converting first downs with his arm.
