Contrary to popular belief, the Green Bay Packers don't only trade down during the draft.

Since general manager Brian Gutekunst took the reins from Ted Thompson, the Packers have made several deals to move up within the first round, most notably the draft-day maneuver to land quarterback Jordan Love in 2020. Other teams might maneuver up the draft board more often than Green Bay, but Gutekunst has shown the willingness to execute an aggressive trade when he feels it necessary.

The 2025 NFL Draft could offer the Packers more enticing opportunities to trade into an earlier slot, both on Day 1 and beyond.
